Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026.
This Privacy Policy describes how proxys.app collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data, in line with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018) — the data-protection framework that applies to us as a Brazil-based company, regardless of where you connect from.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, and phone/WhatsApp where applicable, provided when you create your account;
- Payment data: transaction records from our payment processor (Stripe) — amount, status, and payment identifier. We never store your card details ourselves; Stripe handles that under its own PCI-compliant security;
- Usage data: access logs, data usage on your Mobile Proxy subscription, the IP address used to access your dashboard, and support interactions;
- Desktop App: if you use our desktop application, we log basic usage events (e.g. opening the app, opening/creating/renaming/deleting a browser profile) and, when a technical error occurs, the error message — used exclusively for support and troubleshooting, never to track which sites you visit or browsing content;
- Cookies: essential session cookies and, with your consent, analytics cookies — see our Cookie Policy.
2. Why we process your data
We use your personal data to:
- Create and manage your account and your Mobile Proxy;
- Process payments and issue receipts;
- Send transactional messages (signup confirmation, renewal reminders, payment receipts);
- Provide technical support and respond to your requests;
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations;
- Prevent fraud and misuse of the platform.
3. Legal basis
We process your personal data based on contract performance (to deliver the service you subscribed to), compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation (e.g., payment/tax records), and our legitimate interest (e.g., fraud prevention and platform security) — always respecting your rights and reasonable expectations as the data subject.
4. Data sharing
We share personal data strictly with vendors necessary to operate the service — our payment processor (Stripe) and our transactional email provider — always limited to what's needed to deliver the service. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
5. Retention
We keep your personal data while your account is active and, after closure, for as long as needed to meet legal and tax obligations (including payment history) or to exercise rights in administrative or judicial proceedings, after which the data is deleted or anonymized.
6. Your rights
Under the LGPD, you can request at any time:
- Confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
- Correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;
- Anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data;
- Portability of your data to another service provider;
- Deletion of data processed based on your consent;
- Information about who we share your data with;
- Withdrawal of consent, where applicable.
You can exercise these rights directly from your dashboard, under My Account (including the account-deletion option), or by contacting us through the channels in section 8.
7. Security
We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access and against destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure — including cryptographically hashed passwords and role-based access control.
8. Contact
Questions about this Policy or about how we handle your personal data can be sent through our support form or the contact channels listed in the site footer.
