How to set up a Mobile Proxy in AdsPower (step by step)
A practical proxy setup guide for AdsPower: host, port, username and password fields, connection testing, and good practices for multi-account operations.
AdsPower is one of the most popular antidetect browsers for managing multiple accounts — from TikTok to Google Ads. Proxy setup in it is straightforward, but two or three details separate a stable operation from one that keeps tripping verification. This guide covers the steps and those details.
Step-by-step configuration
When creating a new profile (or editing an existing one), find the profile's Proxy section:
- Proxy type: select SOCKS5 or HTTP, matching your Mobile Proxy's protocol (visible under My Proxies).
- Proxy host: your proxy's host (yourproxy.proxys.host format).
- Proxy port: the numeric port from your credentials.
- Proxy user / password: the proxy's authentication username and password.
Use AdsPower's connection test (Check proxy / Check the network) before saving. The expected result is a Brazilian IP — note it down: it's handy later to confirm a rotation actually switched the IP.
One proxy per profile, always
The temptation to save money by pointing several profiles at the same proxy is real — and it defeats the purpose of the antidetect browser. Profiles sharing an IP share the main network signal the platform sees: if one lands in review, the others carry the association. The recommended design is one dedicated Mobile Proxy per profile that needs an independent identity.
IP rotation in the AdsPower context
The Mobile Proxy's IP changes on demand (dashboard button, or the automation link) and, on plans with automatic rotation, on a configurable interval. For long-session profiles, rotate between usage sessions — not in the middle of a logged-in session, where an IP jump under the same fingerprint is a contradictory signal. Rotated the IP? Host, port, and credentials stay the same — nothing needs reconfiguring in AdsPower.
Quick checklist before operating
- Proxy check returning a Brazilian mobile-carrier IP.
- One dedicated proxy per profile (never shared across profiles).
- Automatic rotation scheduled outside active usage hours — or off, with manual rotation between sessions.
- Profile timezone and language consistent with a Brazilian user, since the IP is Brazilian.
With that in place, AdsPower solves the fingerprint layer and the Mobile Proxy solves the network layer — every account on a clean, exclusive origin consistent with a real Brazilian user.
