How to set up a Mobile Proxy in Multilogin (step by step)

A practical proxy setup guide for Multilogin: where host, port, username, and password go, how to validate the IP before opening the profile, and the most common mistakes.

Multilogin is one of the most widely used antidetect browsers for running multiple ad accounts or separate profiles — and rule number one of that operation is: each profile gets its own dedicated IP. This guide shows where the proxy goes in the profile settings and how to validate everything before opening the browser for the first time.

What you need at hand

  • Your Mobile Proxy credentials: host, port, username, and password (under My Proxies in the dashboard).
  • The protocol you're on — SOCKS5 or HTTP (switchable in the dashboard at no cost).
  • A fresh Multilogin profile (or an existing one with no proxy configured yet).

Configuring the proxy on the profile

When creating or editing a browser profile in Multilogin, find the Proxy section in the profile settings (exact menu naming varies slightly between versions, but the section exists in all of them):

  • Connection type: pick SOCKS5 or HTTP, matching your proxy's protocol.
  • Address/host: your proxy host (something like yourproxy.proxys.host).
  • Port: the numeric port from your credentials.
  • Username and password: the proxy's authentication credentials — not your dashboard login.

Before saving, hit Multilogin's own proxy check button. It should return a Brazilian mobile-carrier IP — if it errors out, check for a stray space pasted into one of the fields first; that's the single most common mistake.

IP rotation and antidetect profiles: the detail almost nobody mentions

Your Mobile Proxy's IP can change — manually from the dashboard, or on a configurable automatic rotation interval depending on the plan. For antidetect browsing, the thing to avoid is the IP changing in the middle of an active profile session: a stable browser identity with an IP jumping mid-use is a contradictory signal. If your operation keeps long sessions open, set a long rotation interval (or turn automatic rotation off) and rotate between sessions, not during them.

Common errors and fixes

  • Proxy check fails immediately: an extra space copied along with host/username/password, or a protocol mismatch (profile set to SOCKS5 while the proxy is in HTTP mode, or vice versa).
  • It worked and then stopped: the IP may have just rotated — the switch takes a few seconds to settle; test again before touching the configuration.
  • Pages keep asking for verification: check whether more than one profile is using the SAME proxy — every profile that needs its own identity needs its own dedicated IP.

With the proxy validated on the profile, Multilogin handles the fingerprint and the Mobile Proxy handles the network origin — each profile on a real Brazilian carrier IP, exclusively yours, which is exactly what a healthy multi-account operation needs.
